Production Technician - Clean Room
Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Starting Pay: $17 an Hour
Job Summary:
Perform line assembly operations to produce hDNA collectors, kits, and accessories in clean room/controlled environments, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and ISO Standards
Assist with keeping/organizing proper manufacturing and assembly documentation in real time. Written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with numbers
Adequate use of computerized spreadsheets.
Adhere to ISO 7 & 8 protocol.
Machine/Equipment:
- Laptop
- Assembly line conveyor
- Labelling tool
- Sonic welder
- Sealer.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Tyvek Lab Coats
- Face Mask
- Gloves (including Latex & Nitril) **See Allergy risk below.
- Protective Eyewear.
Working Conditions:
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
Occasionally exposed to fumes * or airborne particles.
Use of tools that require electricity.
* Latex (gloves) & Isopropyl Alcohol used daily (no other chemicals used). Those with allergies to latex or isopropyl alcohol should consider this information before applying.
Required Qualifications :
Vision Requirements:
- Far - acuity-ability to see clearly at 20 feet or more.
- Near - acuity-ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
- Depth perception - ability to judge distance and space relationships.
- Color vision - ability to distinguish and identify different colors.
