JOB SUMMARY

Assembles metal and rubber materials within customer specifications. The incumbent may also receive cross-training to work in other areas of the facility to include shipping and receiving functions. Basic assembly knowledge and welding experience are beneficial.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities: 

·         Pulling, measuring, cutting, assembling metal & rubber material to customer specifications

·         Preparing material for shipment

·         Assisting in loading and unloading of commercial and customer trucks

·         Basic shipping and receiving duties

·         Learning how to read and develop the ability to interpret drawings and specifications

·         Position requires self-motivated individual who can work independently but also performs well within teams or work groups

·         Safety conscious with good housekeeping practices

·         Other duties may be assigned within the scope of manufacturing facility operations

Job Qualifications:

·         Forklift experience required

·         Assembly and welding experience a plus!

·         Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and future random drug testing

·         Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines
