Manufacturing Mechanic


Monday to Friday


$25.00 per hour




This multi-skilled maintenance team member’s mission is to ensure that production equipment functions properly and is available when needed through continuous improvement, predictive maintenance, quick troubleshooting, and repair activities.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Able to troubleshoot and maintain Boilers, air handling units, air conditioning and support equipment, emergency generators, propellant tank, electrical distribution system and all Production equipment.

  • Maintain production equipment used in Aerosol and Liquid Filling.

  • Testing and treatment of various water systems. 

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.

  • Testing of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems (involves circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)

  • Design, fabrication, machining, and repairing jigs, fixtures and parts for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders and machine modifications.

  • Basic troubleshooting, modifying and/or repairing programmable logic controllers (PLC), Conveyers and other Process equipment.

  • Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment, using standard and specialized hand/power tools (pipe threader, press, welder, cutting torch, machining, etc.).

  • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools to support Production and Warehouse.


Required Qualifications :

Knowledge & Skills Required:



  • Ability to open and close the plant facility for production on a daily basis



  • Can follow proper safety protocols to include LOTO, and support 5S and Safety programs through regular audits, resolving issues directly and/or by overseeing outside service vendors.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Must be willing to continually learn, including taking classes to further maintenance knowledge.

  • Experience installing and maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.

  • Strong Electrical, Mechanical, PLC, and Robotic systems knowledge.
