Machine Operator

Monday to Thursday

6 am to 4:30 pm

$18 to $22 per hour

JOB SUMMARY

The Machine Operator works in the warehouse to install and operate heavy and non-heavy machinery to aid in the plant’s processes and operational tasks. Machine Operators are also responsible for performing regular maintenance checks to ensure proper machine functioning. They are trained on various safety guidelines and regulations and must carefully follow procedures and protocols to ensure safe machine operation. Machines include: Plasma table, Angle master, breaks, steel saw, and punches.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities: 

·         Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery

·         Setting up manufacturing equipment

·         Reading and following blueprints, schematics, and written instructions

·         Using machine equipment to complete tasks

·         Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment

·         Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly

·         Identifying and making improvements by adjusting equipment parts

·         Cleaning all applicators and machinery after painting is completed

·         Managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines

·         Following all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents or illness for self and others
